Hitachi Power Tools and Accessories

The Hitachi power tools company, officially known as Hitachi Koki U.S.A., dates back to 1948 when this independent subsidiary of the global Hitachi group began manufacturing mining machinery as well as electric power tools. In 1980, Hitachi began marketing its product line in the United States, building on successes with its air-powered framing nailer and sliding compound miter saws.

Today, Hitachi produces over one thousand different electric power tool models. They are pioneers in the development of the sliding compound miter saw, cordless impact drivers and screwdrivers, pneumatic concrete nail guns and more. Hitachi is known especially for their expertise in producing fast, lightweight and durable power tool products based on their proprietary high-speed motor technology.
